(2) Two Antique Cabinet Card Photographs and (1) One Tintype. The two cabinet photos are identified as B. Franklin Peet and his wife. However, on-line genealogical sources indicate his name was Franklin B. Peet. The tintype photograph which came with these images reads on the back, "Aunt Liz Peet's little girl." The photo of Mrs. Peet was taken in a studio in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Writing on the back indicates she either lived or was from Southport, Connecticut. The photo of her husband does not state the name of the photographer or location. Measure approximately 4.25 x 6.5 including mounts. The tintype measures 2.5 x 3.75. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They are in very good condition with some soiling. Comments: Genealogical sources indicate Franklin B. Peet was born April 10, 1847 (another source says 1848) in Connecticut, the son of Elijah Peet. He had a brother Edward Peet. Franklin married Louise Peet and together they had six children. He passed away on June 30, 1911 and is buried in Bridgeport. A photocopy of the information provided will be included with the purchase of these photos.
