Colorful flat guitar pin made of a roughly textured mosaic. The colors used on this guitar pin include faux jade stones, darker blue, lighter blue, and red, encased within a shiny gold tone metal.

This exquisite pin is Italian designed and was more often made for tourists.

What I find interesting is that there is a small coiled loop on the very end of the guitar handle that is an actual part of the construction (see pictures).

 

Signed as Italy on the backside.

In nice vintage condition
I searched this pin over under high magnification. I spotted one tiny faux jade stone missing plus one tiny missing blue and white stone at the end of the handle. I believe there are no other stones missing, just some of the material used to go around the stones. A little bit of coloring is worn off of these areas.
The gold tone metal is in really nice condition, not perfect but definitely nice.
There's a minor bend to the pin on the back.
