This is a pretty and delicate vintage Sterling Silver Heart Openwork or Cutout Filigree Band Ring. It has a pattern of hearts and swirled leaves and the detailed cutout design goes all around the ring. It is marked STERLING on the inside of the band. This is approximately a Size 6 as you can see on the Mandrel ring sizer stick. It measures ¾ of an inch in diameter and the band is 3/8 of an inch wide. It weighs .1 ounce on my postage scale, which converts to 2.83 grams. I'm not sure how accurate this would be because I don't know if the scale weighs below .1 ounce. I believe this was from the 1960s or 1970s.

It is in very good used vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not cleaned or polished the ring, I will leave that up to you if you desire. It is developing a nice warm patina.

This ring would work well on any finger. You can wear it on the ring finger or the pinkie. It would also make a nice wedding band or friendship ring.
