Vintage Fisher Price Little People #952 Yellow House COMPLETE/NR MINT w/BOX! (MORE PHOTOS BELOW)

Here for your inspection is the CLASSIC #952 Fisher Price Play Family House play set. Produced from 1969-1979, this set originally consisted of 19 play pieces and the base. In 1980, Fisher Price re-configured this play set so that it resembled a brown, Tudor-style house. I have configured this #952 House according to the 1971 Fisher Price specifications (see www.thisoldtoy.com). This particular offering also includes the original box. Overall, I would consider this particular set to be in NEAR MINT condition.

After closely examining this base, I can discern the following "imperfections:"

1. A few minor pin-head size black spots on the garage floor, the blue living room floor, and the children's bedroom; they're more prominent in my photos than they are in person because of my flash;

2. A couple of minor rubs on each end of the house; one is hidden by the garage when the house is lateched; the other is to the left of the chimney;

3. A few scattered, pin-head size light brown spots on the shutters on the first floor at the front of the house; these spots, I believe, are due to the underlying glue applied at the factory leaching through the litho; they did NOT come out following a careful cleaning; and

4.During the cleaning process, I discovered an brown stain to the left of the living room door; while attempting to remove this stain, I inadvertently removed some of the coloring from this litho (see photos). I then attempted to diminish this white spot using colored pencils. However, I was not satisfied with the results. I have procured a reproduction litho to replace the damaged litho.

I can't find any cracks, breaks, chips, abrasions, deep scratches, discolorations, "dings," fading anywhere on either the lithos or on the plastic surfaces. The colors for all the plastic surfaces are as bright as the day they were manufactured. The doorbell and sliding garage door work perfectly. Some of the spots you may see in the children's bedroom (in one corner) are just particles of foam, probably from one of the beds. They came off easily with just a Q-tip.

The Little People and all of the accessories are in FABULOUS condition. Everything is configured according to the 1971 FP specifications. All of the people are WOOD/
WOOD and Snoopy has a straight WOOD base and a red collar. The red single seater car for that year did not have a C hook in the back.

The box has all of its flaps but does show some wear (smushed in on top, edge wear on the seams, small tear on the top of one flap, some missing areas of the white surface on the bottom of the box). On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being PERFECT, I'd give this a 9.0.

Please check my feedback for the testimonials of some of my former customers. Many of these buyers have stated their purchases from me have surpassed my descriptions and their expectations. Also, please examine my photos. I've tried to give you as many photos as possible so you can judge for yourself what you're receiving.

Now for the many strengths of this base:

1. All the masonite corners are fully intact and free of any bending, layering, smushing etc.; the underneath side of the masonite base is free of any water stains;

2. The INTERIOR and EXTERIOR lithos are firmly and smoothly adhered to their plastic or masonite surfaces. There are only a few scattered, minor bubbles and the rub that I mentioned on the living room wall;

3. The "grassy" lithos around the edge of the house and the EXTERIOR and INTERIOR driveway lithos are in exceptional condition (NEAR MINT-MINT);

4. The chimney is 100% intact and hasn't developed any cracks or yellowing around the edges etc.;

5. In general, all of the lithos have retained their bright, original coloration. Other than the "imperfections" I've mentioned, the remaining lithos are in GREAT shape and fully intact;

There you have it! This would make a WONDERFUL set for a beginning Fisher Price collector or some lucky child.

Remember, this toy is NOT part of the recent Fisher Price recall. This play set was manufactured in the good ole' United States.

As this set contains small parts, it is NOT recommended to be given to children under 3 years of age or those who are still mouthing their toys. Adult supervision is recommended.

I have already thoroughly Q-tip cleaned this playset and all of its accessories. It's in "move-in" condition!
