Conoco commemorative paperweight in honor of the National Parks Centennial, 1872-1972. Embedded in the clear lucite is a U.S. 8-cent postage stamp showing Old Faithful at Yellowstone National Park and the date the stamp was issued, March 1, 1972. Yellowstone NP was the world's first national park. The signature of Edward P. Archer, the stamp's engraver, is shown to the right. The name of Robert T. Handville, who designed the stamp, is shown to the left. On the backside of the display is a map of Yellowstone NP. The paperweight is 3-3/8" wide x 3-7/8" tall x 1" thick. This paperweight is pre-owned, but in excellent condition with original red box. Box cover is split on 2 corners.
