KAI LUNG'S GOLDEN HOURS
by Ernest Bramah
Ballantine Books(Adult Fantasy),1972
First Paperback Printing
Condition: Near Fine

Bramah is best known for creating Max Carrados, the first blind detective in mystery fiction. But he also wrote the Kai Lung series, set in a fantasy version of China. Bramah wrote with a "studied, elegant wit, adroit humor and, above all, superbly controlled English." This title in Ballantine's Adult Fantasy series, edited by Lin Carter, has memorable wrap-around cover art by Ian Miller. The novel was first published in 1922, but had been out of print for many years before this first paperback appearance. This copy has only very light outer wear; a few page edges have a slight bump; otherwise, the book is tight, clean and unmarked.
