Each pack has five strands. Each strand will hold approx 4 1/2 lbs of meat.  Beef collagen product. 17 mm diameter.  Filled strand is approx 25' long.  Fully edible and much easier to use than hog or sheep casings. Permeable to allow smoke to penetrate when smoking. Great for fresh snack sausage that is going straight to the smoker or in the freezer. Collagen casings are natural, very easy and quick to use. No preparation needed. Just load on your stuffing tube, tie off the end and start stuffing.

Store unused casings for up to two years.
