This is an obsolete memorabilia from from SILVER BIRD Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. The fun Hotel of the Strip in a Horseshoe shape and a hole for use as a pendant or keychain. Circulated around 1970s.

The THUNDERBIRD HOTEL operated from Sept. 2 1948 to July 6 1992, the 4th resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip. For the past 15 years of its existence, it changed names 2x, 1st as the SILVERBIRD in 1977 and then the EL RANCHO in 1982, borrowing the name of the very 1st resort that opened on the Strip. Home to many many great artists as ROSEMARY CLOONEY (1951), JUDY GARLAND (1965), REX ALLEN & his horse COCO, NAT KING COLE (1948) and many others.
After lying vacant for 8 years, The TURNBERRY PLACE condominium complex now stands on the site, now slated to be teh site for the $2.8 billion FONTAINEBLEAU RESORT.
Material is aluminum. Measures roughly 1-5/8"H x 1-3/8"W. Used.
