Vintage original U.S. one-sheet poster from the comedy/crime/horror film BAD (AKA "ANDY WARHOL'S BAD"), released in 1977 by New York Pictures and directed by Jed JohnsonHazel (Carroll Baker) runs a beauty salon out of her house but makes extra money by providing ruthless women to do hit jobs. L.T. (Perry King) is a parasite and contacts Hazel looking for work when he runs out of money. She is reluctant to use him for a hit since she prefers using women but decides to try him on a trial basis. Meanwhile, the local cop she pays-off wants an arrest to make it look like he's actually doing his job, but she doesn't want to sacrifice any of her "associates." Several other side plots are woven in, populated with characters from the sleazy side of life.

The one-sheet poster offered here is from the film's original X-Rated theatrical release. The artwork features a "photographic collage designed by John Van Hamersveld) as indicated by the small vertical print near the top right corner. This one-sheet has been inscribed in silver Sharpie by actress Susan Tyrrell on the t-shirt of the woman on the poster ("Hi Guys - Love, Susan Tyrrell"). Folded as originally issued, this vintage original one-sheet poster is in fine- condition with an extra fold line in the top quadrant to the right of the center fold; a light 1.25-in horizontal crease near the top left corner; a tiny area of separation at the edge of the center left and right borders; a 2-in. long area of random separation on the bottom foldline in the white border portion only; a few tiny areas of separation on the right panel of the center foldline; separation at the bottom crossfold with a good deal of random separation along the bottom right foldline; and light signs of wear on and near the bottom corners. The colors are fresh and vibrant, the white background is a bright white and Miss Tyrrell's signature is bold and unaffected by any issues.
