Diesel fuel injector connector for Chevrolet & GMC Duramax LLY LBZ LLM 6.6 Diesel. It is a common problem on these engines (2004 & 2005 model years) for the injector harness connectors to go bad – usually the number 2 and number 7 connector. Sometimes the problem is intermittent sometimes not. We have examined a few of the failed factory connectors and we think we know why. Sloppy crimping of the terminals, poor installation of the wire insulators and defective terminals that break from engine vibration seem to be the culprits. Our connectors use a genuine Bosch connector housing with high quality terminals. We hand assemble each connecter and crimp the terminals the correct way. Connectors are assembled using Ultra High Temperature Silicone wire seals (see picture). Pigtail wires are 14 Gauge and 16+ inches long. We use the highest quality GXL automotive wire with Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation material (SAE Spec J-1128, meets or exceeds Ford Spec M1L-123A and Chrysler Spec MS-8288). Conductor material is 100% copper. This wire will easily survive under the hood of any diesel. Beware of other vendors selling these connectors with non-automotive grade PVC insulated wire – this type of wire will not stand up to high temperatures, diesel fuel & oil. Bad connectors may set the following codes: P0202, P2149, P0207 & P2146. Free shipping within the USA. Worldwide shipping cost is $7.50. Paypal accepted.
