This graceful sculpture has been carved from one piece of Ebony wood.  The tenderness of the mama giraffe for her baby is captured beautifully. This willowy sculpture is in nice condition with no major damage or repairs; just a scratch on the neck of the mother, which can be touch up with a wood furniture marker.  There is a crack in the base which is natural to the wood.

The carving has so many nice subtle, details; the mane on the neck, the little spots on the body and the texture of the tail.

This sculpture measures approx 8" tall,, the base is approx  3.5 x 2.5".
