You are bidding on this nice color photo postcard. The postcard is Noccalula Falls, Gadsden, Alabama. The postcard is in good condition, with some light wear at the corners and edges, and some light stains and yellowing on the back, as well as some moisture damage at the edges, and a little on the front in the center of the card. The discoloration in the photo is a reflection, and is not any discoloration actually on the postcard but the back is quite yellowed with age. The postcard is used postally, has a stamp, and a postmark dated 1966, and has a caption on the back that reads; Noccalula Falls, atop Lookout Mountain, is five miles from the heart of Gadsden. This inspiring scenic attraction shows the water of Black Creek tumble over a cliff for a drop of 95 feet. According to Indian Legend, the waterfall is named after Noccalula, the daughter of an Indian Chief, who leaped to her death from this precipice…It is 3.5” by 5.5” and is a nice color photo postcard.
