You are bidding on this nice color photo postcard.  The postcard is Scott’s, One of Canada’s Best.  The postcard is in good condition, with some light wear at the corners and edges, and some light stains and yellowing on the back, as well as some moisture damage at the edges, and a little on the front in the center of the card.  The discoloration in the photo is a reflection, and is not any discoloration actually on the postcard, but there is some ink on the front of this card as well as the back.  The photo is stiffened and warbled from moisture.  The postcard is un-used postally, and has a caption on the back that reads;  One of Canada’s Best, 1906, An Historic Year…San Francisco was destroyed by fire and earthquake – Wilfred Laurier was Prime Minister of Canada – the Ostrich Boa was high fashion – and the California Grill on Granville St. was opened.  Twenty-five years and three changes of ownership later, we became Scott’s, and immediately began to build a reputation as one of the nation’s better restaurants.  Through the years the year round, Vancouverites still say “meet me at Scott’s”; daily we serve children and grand-children of Scott’s earliest customers.  To merit their continuing patronage, and yours, we buy only the finest foods, prepare it with care and skill from our specially selected recipes, and serve it cheerfully and promptly...  It is 5.5” by 7” and is a nice color photo postcard.
