Yank, was a weekly Army magazine published by the U.S. military during World War II.

The first issue was published on June 17, 1942. The magazine was written by enlisted soldiers and was made available to the soldiers, sailors, and airmen serving overseas. Yank was the most widely read magazine in the history of the U.S. military, with a worldwide circulation of 2.6 million
