A collection from HARPER'S MAGAZINE . Ten stories of supernaturalism, well written, but some say unspectacular. Psychological in orientation. This book is listed in Bleiler’s “The Guide to Supernatural Fiction.”

A significant collection of ten stories, most of which do not appear in other anthologies.

This book contains the classic weird tale, "The Little Room," by Madeline Yale Wynne as well as Howard Pyle's "In Tenebras" and Hildegard Hawthorne's "Perdita," considered by many authorities to be her best supernatural story. Mentioned in “The Encyclopedia of Fantasy”. Bleiler (1978), page 104. Reginald 00116. Smith, American Fiction, 1901-1925 S-339. BAL 978.
