This cup and saucer are lovely for display.  They have an opalescent look.  The saucer has an asian inspired hand painted scene with a bird and what could be a dogwood branch. There are so scratches or chips.  There is a spot on the saucer in the outer edge where the paint ran that happened in the painting process.  The cup is very light and dainty.  The handle could be gilt.
