This is a lovely brooch of three Dolphins jumping or swimming together in unison. The Porpoises are made from a gold tone metal and are very detailed and highly textured with a quilt or checkboard pattern or design. The eyes are painted in black enamel. It has a rollover safety clasp on the back. It measures approximately 2 ¾ inches long and 1 ½ inches tall. This pin is unsigned and most likely from the 1970s to 1980s.
 
This brooch is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The roll over clasp on the back is nice and secure; there is a small dark spot on the pin back on the straight pin about ½ ways across (see arrow in picture). Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
 
This would be perfect for any Dolphin lover. It will be great to wear on your next cruise or to a beach party or Luau. It has a very tropical and nautical feel. It will be a nice addition to your collection of animal figural pins.
