VINTAGE 1972 RAGGEDY ANN ANDY 6-1/2" SANKYO MUSIC BOX SCHOOL DAYS SONG

This is a vintage 6 1/2" tall ceramic music box of Raggedy Andy and Raggedy Ann, who are shown sitting with one another atop a grassy knoll, with a blue and a red school book in front of them. Raggedy Andy is wearing a white cap with a blue border and a blue sailor's outfit with a white neckerchief. Raggedy Ann is wearing a red dress with a white apron. When the plastic base is wound up, the music box turns and plays the song "School Days." The wind-up mechanism and music both work perfectly. Overall, this item is in very good condition with only a couple of very small places where the paint has been chipped and is barely noticeable. See photo. On the wood on the bottom is written in black Chadwick-Miller 1972 Japan. On the plastic wind up mechanism is written Sankyo Made in Japan. There is a place on the bottom of the grassy knoll that has scroll work. There might have been plastic glued there with writing on it, probably the name of the song.

My items are shipped from Canada and I use Canada Post - we do not have a media rate or first class shipping as in the US. Canada Post charges by the size and weight of the items. When you receive your parcel, shipping costs do not reflect the 15% HST we have to pay in Nova Scotia on stamps. I do not ship on weekends or holidays as there is no mail service available at Canada Post on these days. Please remember that sometimes items are held up by your country's Customs which can extend shipping times.

Always happy to combine items when possible to save you on postage.

IF YOU PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE ITEM PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU A COMBINED SHIPPING INVOICE BEFORE PAYING. Combined shipping is based on the FINAL WEIGHT of your package - please email me the item numbers if you would like an exact rate for the items you are bidding on. Thanks.
