The Little Trotter is a vintage brand and this is a beautiful special occasion party dress, perfect for weddings, Christmas and other holidays, photos, church, etc. It is a rich burgundy wine color, gathered at the sleeves to make them puff and the waist for fullness, and trimmed with tatting and rosettes at the waist in the front.

I believe, from my research on the differences between velvet and velveteen, that it is velvet. It is 100% nylon, and I found where there is nylon velvet, but I cannot find any mention of velveteen being made from anything other than cotton. I am not a fabric expert and could be wrong. There is very little sheen or shine to the fabric, not much of a nap, the fabric does not drape very well, there is no stretch, and the reverse side is a dull color.

Measurements, with garment lying flat and unstretched:

Shoulders, straight across 11"
Armpit to armpit, straight across 13"
Waist, straight across 11-3/4"
Sweep, straight across 24-1/2"
Sleeves from shoulder seam to end 6-1/2"
Length straight down the center back from the neck to the hem 22-3/4"

Good Condition. No stains, holes, etc.

Returns must be received within 30 days, in the same packaging and same condition it was when shipped to you. Buyer pays return shipping with no refunds on the original shipping. Once the item is returned in the same condition it was when shipped, your purchase price will be refunded.

If the purchase price included shipping (FREE Shipping), the cost of the original shipping will be deducted before your refund is sent. Items returned in a different condition than when they were shipped are not eligible for a full refund.

If your item is damaged in shipment, contact me as soon as possible with photos of the package, packing materials and the damaged item. Once I see your photos showing it was damaged in shipment, I will refund your purchase 100%, including the shipping paid, without requiring a return of the damaged item(s). The photos are also needed to file the insurance claim on Priority Mail shipments.
