Vintage Fisher Price Little People #994 Camper Playset (MORE PHOTOS BELOW)

Here's an AWESOME Fisher Price Little People #994 Play Family Camper (1973-76) that is 100% COMPLETE! This playset is a CLASSIC Fisher Price toy and one that all Fisher Price collectors covet. When you push the camper, it makes a motor sound and the people in the front seat bounce up and down. The camper home detaches from the pick-up truck and the rowboat fits on top of the camper's sunroof. While it's pull string is intact, there are a some nibbles and kinks in it. All in all, I would gauge this playset to be in EXC++ +-NEAR MINT condition.

The EXTERIOR lithos of the TRUCK are intact but display two miniscule bubbles on the left hand litho. The dashboard litho presents with one, pin-head size rub on the lower edge below the steering wheel. There is ome light soiling on top of the map litho; this may come up with a careful cleaning. There are noi stains, marks, or tears etc. on any of these EXTERIOR truck lithos. In general, I would categorize these original lithos as being in EXC+++-NEAR MINT condition.

Although the EXTERIOR CAMPER lithos are all present, the left hand litho exhibits some edgewear, and some minor tears. The right hand EXTERIOR CAMPER litho is GORGEOUS, with only a few pin-head size rubs. In my opinion, the Camper lithos are in EXC++-NEAR MINT condition.

The INTERIOR CAMPER lithos are in WONDERFUL condition. Other than some EXTREMELY light soiling, they're virtually BLEMISH FREE (NEAR MINT). On close examination, I can spy one-one minor spot (less than 1/4" L) towards the upper left hand corner of the floor litho. The countertop lithos likewise exhibit some light soiling but the colors and graphics are crisp and bright. I'm confident that the light soiling will be remedied via a thorough Q-tip cleaning.

The INTERIOR BOAT litho is PERFECT (MINT). The bottom of the boat demonstrates a few light scratches and scuffing on the bottom rails of the boat. I believe most of these will diminish with an application of Armor All and a gentle buffing.

Inside the CAMPER unit, the overhead beds are missing @ 80% of their original foam. This is a common occurrence. Most of the foam in these sets has deteriorated over time due to dry rot. I will not be removing the remaining foam as some collectors value this and do not wish it to be removed.

The plastic surfaces of the truck, camper, and boat have fully retained their MESMERIZING original colors. The wheels of the truck show little, if any, "road wear." The truck still emits a robust ratchety sound as it is pulled or pushed. All of the plastic surfaces are free of any cracks, chips, abrasions, or "dings." The ONLY "imperfections" I can find are:

1. Some faint scuffing on the side rails of the truck bed;

2. Some light scratches in the truck bed, underneath the truck, and on the bottom of the camper; however, these are not visible while the toy is in play or on display;

I'm being super "nit-picky" so that no one will be disappointed by this piece. Many of my former customers have stated the items they have purchased from me far surpassed their expectations.

This REMARKABLE Camper playset also contains the following accessories:

1 HTF red table with hot dog litho (NEAR MINT--couple of pin-head size rubs on one corner of the litho);

1 VHTF yellow patio table with red umbrella (NEAR MINT--some darkening on spring--NOT RUST; I believe this will lighten up with a generous application of Naval Jelly; all of the scallops are intact);

1 HTF yellow grill (MINT);

1 RARE red ladder (NEAR MINT-some light scuffs; these are miniscule in nature but I feel obliged to report them);

4 HTF red captain's chairs with triangles on back of chairs (4 EXC++--minor edge wear on the front of the seats; barely visible);

1 HTF yellow motorcycle (VG+-VG++- some indentations and scrapes on the right side of the motorcycle's frame and to a lesser extent, on the left hand side and upper edges of the back rest);

1 HTF white potty (MINT);

and 1 HTF white single sink (EXC++--some light discoloration due to age, primarily on the faucet and handles and along the bottom edge of the sink; I'm going to try and bleach these out but I can't guarantee I'll be successful).

The set also includes 4 ALL PLASTIC Little People and 1 ALL PLASTIC LUCKY:

1 tall, green bodied Dad with black heat-stamped hair (EXC++--some edge wear on the bottom of the piece);

1 VHTF, yellow bodied boy with red cap facing forward, freckles, smile (NEAR MINT--MINT);

1 tall, blue bodied Mom with blonde pony (NEAR MINT---faint, barely perceptible, scratch on her lower left cheek);

1 HTF, red bodied girl with bobbed blonde hair w/bangs (EXC++-hint of some minor scratches on top of head); and

1 Lucky, the dog, with red collar (MINT).

I've tried to be as thorough and honest about this set as I can. I'd rather be "nit-picky" than have someone disappointed in what they were purchasing. All in all, this is a GREAT playset for either an avid Fisher Price collector or some lucky child.

I will be thoroughly cleaning this playset before sending it on to its new owners. I use a variety of cleaning products: Q-tips, toothpicks, a child's tooth brush, Dawn, Soft Scrub, Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser, Goo Gone, Oops, Clorox Bleach Pen etc. I spend a MINIMUM of 1-1 1/2 hours cleaning each and every playset. I pride myself on the cleanliness of my sets.

REMEMBER, this VINTAGE Fisher Price playset is NOT included in the recent Fisher Price recall of toys manufactured in China. This playset was manufactured in the good ole' U.S.A. in 1973!!!! It's 39 years young and still personifies Fisher Price's reputation for imaginative, durable toys.

This toy represents the "GOLDEN AGE" of Fisher Price toys---when kids could be kids and exercise their own imaginations instead of sitting there passively and watching a toy do everything for them. Open up the windows of your child or grandchild's mind and watch them soar! I guarantee this toy will keep them actively engaged in play for hours:)

Purchasers should refrain from allowing children under 3 years of age to play with these toys without adult supervision or to offer these toys to children who may be still mouthing their toys.
