For sale is my authentic Bottega Veneta "document case" or clutch, with original box and care tag--new and never used. I bought it recently (2010) from the Bottega Veneta boutique (not from an outlet).  It originally retailed for $460.

The condition is new, as pristine as when I got it. I have never used or carried it.  It has stayed inside my desk since I bought it. It has had no exposure to heat, light, or moisture. My home is smoke-free and pet-free.

This item is made from vitellino lisse--a smooth, light calf leather that has a suede facing in its interior.  This material is an upgraded (i.e., more expensive) leather from the typical nappa leather.  This leather has inherent structure (it is not floppy), and it has a semi-glossy finish. The matita color is a dark graphite gray, and it has natural, very subtle variation from the grain of the leather.

The top zipper is metal (gunmetal finish) and a teardrop pulltab.  The matching perimeter grommets (also metal, gunmetal color) add distinctive detailing.

Dimensions are approximately 7.75" long, 4" wide, 7/8" deep. Bottega Veneta calls it a document case, but I can envision using it as a clutch, especially becuase of the stately color and finish, as well as its non-floppy structure.
