Very cool old antique very large lock with key. Lock works. Key turns. Don't know what it came off of but it is big. Missing top piece that goes on the long curved bar and locks in to the other slot. Has strong metal or iron rivets all over it.Could be made by someone if you wish. I love it just the way it is. Made of iron or metal . Very heavy and well made quality lock. I have never seen such a large lock before. Never found a lock like this with it's key. Great display piece Great piece for a play, movie, theatre, or restaurant. Measures about 9 inches from the bottom of the lock up to the top of the curved bar by about 9 inches wide out to one end of the curved bar to the other end by 2 inches wide out to the rivets on the lock. The lock body itself is about 7 inches by 6 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches by 2 inches or so. This is not a new piece. Please examine the pictures carefully before purchase. Has the usual scratches,marks,rust,patina,wear, dings,dents,chips,broken off pieces, missing pieces, dirt, dust,paint loss or splatters, that all older pieces have from age and use.
