properties
Phospholipids play an essential role in the human body, as membrane structural elements and as regulators of exchange functions between the intra- and extracellular compartments, as well as the activation of membrane-based enzymatic systems.

The degree of metabolic exchange and hepatic activity depends on the fluidity of the hepatocyte membrane and is affected by the structure of the membrane phospholipids, especially their composition in fatty acids. Hepatocyte membrane lesion is constant in hepatic pathology, causing damage to cellular metabolic functions and reduction of membrane enzyme systems activity. Due to the fact that the functioning, maintenance and regeneration of cellular structures are primarily dependent on their ability to form membranes, the administration of "essential" phospholipids (EPL = essential phospholipids) in the treatment of liver disease is of major importance. Essentials provide the already synthesized macro-liver EPL, which ideally corresponds - endogenously to their endogenous phospholipid - by their chemical structure and which, from a functional point of view, can be even superior to them because of their high content in essential fatty acids. These EPLs are incorporated as intact molecules in hepatocyte membranes, which will cause: altered liver function and poor enzyme activity to normalize as a direct effect of the EPL on membranous structures; the energy balance of the liver is restored; lipid metabolism to normalize; bile flow to stabilize.

Composition:
A Essentiale Forte capsule contains: EPL (the active principle being the diglycerid esters of choline-phosphoric acid of natural origin, with excess of unsaturated fatty acids, among which linoleic acids - about 70% - linolenic and oleic) - 300 mg; thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1) 6 mg; riboflavin (vitamin B2) 6 mg; Hydrochloric pyridoxine (vitamin B6) 6 mg; cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 6 mg; nicotinamide 30 mg; alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) 6 mg.
