Chief International Instructor, Japan Karate Do Ryobu-Kai, Kiyoshi Yamazaki sensei -an eight-degree black belt from Ryobukai (Japan Karate Federation) and a ninth-degree Shindo Jinen Ryu-teaches you kata and sparring techniques from beginning through black-belt ranks. His own teacher, Yasuhiro Konishi, learned this style directly from Okinawan masters Funakoshi (shotokan) Mabuni (shito-ryu), Miyagi (goju-ryu) and Choki Motobu. Yamazaki Sensei was chosen to serve on the committee to select the "US Karate Team" that would participate in the first World Karate Tournament in Japan. Sensei Yamazaki was a former Chairman of the USA National Karate-do Federation's Technical Committee and a member of the World Karate Federation's Sports Commission. As an official with the WKF and member of the World Karate Federation's Referee Council, he traveled the world assisting in the coordination of Karate as a future event in the Olympics.
