HW & CO.
English sterling silver salver tray made by "HW & Co", likely Henry Winkinson of Sheffield circa 1849. It was retailed by J. Mayer Silversmith in Liverpool. The piece is footed with applied cast grape motif feet. It features clusters of gapes with leaves and has scrolly engraving in the center. It measures 1 1/2" tall, 12" in diameter, and it weighs 24.4 ozt. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition. A true work of art! SKU#0376.
