This rock has the Hebrew letters for Chai, the Jewish symbol and is a large stone.
According to The Jewish Daily Forward, its use as an amulet originates in 18th century Eastern Europe. Chai as a symbol goes back to medieval Spain. Letters as symbols in Jewish culture go back to the earliest Jewish roots, the Talmud states that the world was created from Hebrew letters which form verses of the Torah. In medieval Kabbalah, Chai is the lowest (closest to the physical plane) emanation of God.
I have them in different sizes, large, a medium, and a small stone. You can see the variations on the pictures.
The large rock measures approx 3 1/2 inches tall by approx 2 inches wide by approx 2 3/4 inches in depth, but that is just an example, because since these are made with real rocks, each rock will differ in size, shape, color, or texture.
If you want a specific rock, please email me.
The medium rocks measure approx 2 inches wide by 2 inches high by approx 1 1/2 inches in depth, but again that is just an approximate since each rock is different.
The small rocks measure 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch by approx 3/4 inch in depth and again they differ, so some may be smaller and others larger.
Coated with polyurethane and comes in a draw string bag.
As always with Hebrew Art Work each purchase comes with a free gift.
Please understand that these are real rocks and the rocks will have some imperfections such as dents, or cracks, or darkening in some area but those imperfections all lead to the One of a Kind beauty of their naturalism.
