Crown vetch - Penngift is an attractive, perennial, ground cover. Crown vetch can be an invasive plant and should NOT be planted in lawns or crop areas. It is difficult to remove once established. This plant item is intended for use in certain situations such as for erosion control in difficult to access hillsides, certain wildlife plantings, ground cover plantings, etc. Planting instructions ; In the Late Spring after the last frost warning: Sow the Seeds 1/4 to 1/2" deep into Seedbed freshly tilled and prepared with High Organic matter. Soil should be well drained and well situated for medium to full sunlight each Day. A few specific notes that we recommend are: 1. Plant the crown vetch seeds in the spring all the way up to August 2. Keep the crown vetch well-watered, Once established, it's fairly drought resistant 3. Ideal for erosion control.
