Anne raspberries bear fruit in late August through October, rather than in early summer like many of their red or black counterparts/ cousins. Zone 2-10.
This sunshine-colored fruit has a unique flavor with hints of apricot. These large, sweet, firm berries will liven up tarts, jams and salads. They also freeze well. The hardy and productive plant bears in the first year. Cold-hardy and heat-tolerant. Fall-bearing (everbearing) primocane with a summer crop. Floricane berries ripen in July and August. Primocane berries ripen in September through frost. Self-pollinating. May be covered by U.S.P.P. #10411 or other patents. Un-stratified, seeds will require stratification on the ground over the winter or 45 days in the freezer to stimulate germination Alternatively, you may plant them in the fall, and watch them come up in the spring.
