Comments: An on-line genealogy source reveals he was born in 1904 and died in 1996. He was the son of Lena Hamel and Gilbert Syphers. His mother Lena was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1885 and died in Willamantic, Connecticut on July 27, 1981.
