at The Benedum
Center For The Performing Arts,
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
This memorable Live PBS Special TV Concert showcased some of the most popular
and beloved Doo-Wop groups that existed since the 1950s. The concert was hosted by former Impressions lead and soul soloist Jerry Butler.
This wonderful, nostalgic Doo Wop concert became the highest-producing pledge drive special in the
history of PBS at that time,
garnering more than $20 million for its
member stations.
