Offered here is a vintage original 11x14 in. US lobby card from the 1950's Film-Noir gangster crime drama I MOBSTER, released in 1959 by 20th Century-Fox and directed by Roger Corman. Based upon the novel by Joseph Hilton Smythe, handsome Steve Cochran stars in the rise and fall of gang lord Joe Sante. As indicated in the center of the bottom border, this is scene card number 4 from the set of 8 cards. The image features an interior medium shot gangster Joe Sante (Steve Cochran) lying on the floor after being shot as Teresa Porter (Lita Milan) lies on the floor and stars at him as a gun lies to the right.
This vintage original lobby card was printed for the film's original 1959 US theatrical release and it is not from a later theatrical re-release. It is unrestored and in very good+ condition only with multiple pinholes and/or staple holes in each corner and in the center of the top and bottom borders and a few in each side border; a 1.5 in. diagonal scratch on Cochran's right shoulder; a small stain on the top border near the right corner; several small areas of lighting staining or smudging in the right border; several small stains in the bottom border; two fingerprint smudges in the bottom half of the left border; and a tiny stain in the floor near the front right left of the chair at the top right. The colors are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
