Antique French Enamel Bronze Inkwell Romantic Era Hand Painted 1870's Viennese Enamel Boucher Fragonard Style Lady's Travel Inkwell

Superb Antique French or Viennese Enamel inkwell  hand painted pastoral , romantic scene Boucher style, lady's, travel inkwell circa 1870-90's.
Beautiful Enamel miniature painting depicting a very detailed  romantic scene of  a courting couple in the front, the back  is painted with  a lake surrounded by tall trees in brilliant colors on a Bronze base.
The scene is right out of the Romantic Era movement of the 1700s best represented by the paintings by Boucher, Fragonard and others.
The small, travel inkwell ? has a domed , hinged Bronze lid the inside is Bronze lined too and is 2" tall by 1 5/8" of an inch in diameter (Bottom )
Condition : The are cracks on the Enamel and also there is a repair on the painting , on the side of the woman, the colors are bright , the hinge is tight and the Bronze is clean and shiny.

This unusual little inkwell has a personality that commands attention and will make an elegant accessory to any vanity or desktop.
Having said that this is a very old, at least over 125 years, Viennese/French Enamel piece still very collectible and displays beautifully.  A gorgeous  addition to any Inkwell , writing instrument collection !  My price reflects the condition.
