Hand knitted checkerboard chest protector made from a 1915 British photo (this 1915 photo is shown above as the last photo). 

MATERIAL:

Made of 100% pure wool and nothing else! 

SIZING:

Fits a 38 chest to 42 chest. 

The squares are black and red. Each square measures about 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches. (3.31 centimeters by 3.81 centimeters.) 

The whole checkerboard measures 11.5 inches by 11.5 inches. (29.21 centimeters by 29.21 centimeters.)

The back is navy blue and measures 13.75 inches across and 11.5 inches in length. (34.92 centimeters by 29.21 centimeters.)

The straps are black. The shoulder straps are 5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. (12.7 centimeters by 4.44 centimeters.) The side straps are the same. 

WASHING:

Hand wash and lay flat to dry.
