SKULL-FACE by Robert E. Howard

Berkley Medallion, First Thus, February 1978

Condition: Very Good

This is a collection of four Howard non-Conan stories.  The title short novel , one of Howard's earliest, was published in Weird Tales.  Soon after, the magazine stopped running serials for a time, so the sequel, "Taverel Manor" was left uncompleted; it was finished in the '70s by Richard A. Lupoff (who also wrote the Introduction to this book), and the novella is published here for the first time.
Also included are two related novelets, "Lord of the Dead" (which was set to appear in Strange Detective when the magazine suddenly ceased publication, so this story also debuts here) and "Names in the Black Book", originally in Super--Detective Stories.

This copy has a spine reading crease, some edge and corner wear and light page toning; else, a clean, tight copy.  Bound in the middle of the book is a full-cover poster with folds, as published.
