Quilt 1 - "Home Sweet Home"

Quilt 1 represents everyone's dream house where life

is as it should be: safe, warm, and uncomplicated.

Diane's quilt combines three easy elements - a  house

block, half square triangles, and border strips.

Quilt 2 - "Beach Houses"

Dream of the carefree days of summer. Away

from it all - no cell phones, no TV, no pressure.

Just gentle sunshine, blue skies, balmy breezes,

and lots of time to do whatever you please.

Quilt 2 adds complexity to the design, but retains

simplicity in construction. Working with smaller

pieces - and more of them! - takes the quilter to

the next skill level.

Quilt 3 - "Winter Retreat"

Dream of a world covered in quiet beauty,

a warm fire crackling on the heart, a favorite

chair to curl up in under a well-worn quilt.

In Quilt 3, the house blocks are smaller and

surrounded by huge snowflakes and snow-

covered trees creating the illusion of being

snowbound in a serene winter retreat.

Working with even smaller pieces - and

more of them! - makes this quilt the most

challenging.
