1.Viola also pictured. Zones 4-10. Does well in dense shade, including behind roses. Forms a carpet of shiny green heart-shaped leaves. Blooms spring through summer. It is happy to increase its carpet effect, but won't venture into full sun. Compost-rich soil is best.

2.Shade ground cover. Highly fragrant, with a sweet scent of vanilla fill the garden air. Light yellow cheerful blooms are neatly edged in lavender persist from Spring-Fall. Grows to 10" tall. Clump forming, spendid planted beneath taller Shrubs. Butterfly Lovers, Everblooming, Evergreen, Fragrance, Long Blooming

3.Plant with Red Oak Trees which attract Monarch Butterflies. Plant under feeders or shrubs with 3 Ft. woodchips. Runs rampant in shady areas and woodlands in the Spring. Spreads quickly. Plant as a groundcover. Over 50 species available. Great in containers. Plant at base of posts or mailbox. Cut back after first bloom to bloom again in the Fall.
