This series recounted the cases "the man with the action-packed expense account, America’s fabulous freelance insurance investigator, Johnny Dollar". The name of the show derives from the fact that Dollar closed each show by totaling his expense account, and signing it "End of report... Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar".This show ran for twelves years beginning in 1949 and eight actors played Johnny Dollar including Charles Russell, Edmond O'Brien and John Lund. This10 CD set includes the audition show starring Dick Powell, and 19 more early shows starring Charles Russell, Edmond O'Brien, John Lund and another audition show from 1955 starring Gerald Mohr.
