Wowee! What a double dip of dreckola from MIRACLE. I'm not sure which of these turkeys is more decrepit.
TORMENTED The only man to ever challenge Roger Corman's sobriquet, "King of the 'B's," Bert I. Gordon does(n't) it again with this odoriferous offal. Director Gordon, who as of 3/10 was still kicking around at age 88, foisted upon us such turds as WAR OF THE COLOSSAL BEAST (1958), THE MAD BOMBER (1973), ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE (1958) and HOW TO SUCCEED WITH SEX (1970). In this piece of "work," a prospective groom is haunted by the ghost of a former girlfriend that he could've saved when she toppled off a lighthouse and met a sandy death. Second-billed here is the nepotic Gordon's 11-year-old daughter, Susan. MANIAC (1934) 58 minutes, Pure garbage from the director of CREEPS (1932) and REEFER MADNESS (1936), Dwain Esper. Absolutely one of the worst pictures ever made. His lousy script and amateur cast make Ed Wood's several lead balloons look brilliant by comparison. Here, a moronic story is interrupted by frequent "educational" text scrolls describing various mental illnesses. Only for lobotomized zomboids and those who enjoy cat mutilation.
