One day, my wife asked me to build her a scarf rack, as she loves to wear and display her scarfs. While cleaning up some fallen Oak tree branches in our yard, I noticed that some of the branches would make nice hooks for scarfs, towels etc..... Instead of going the traditional route of metal hooks on a piece of wood for my Wife's Honey Dew project, I decided to make the scarf rack out of the Oak tree branches !!!
To my delight it was a hit with my wife, family and friends. I was soon making one for everyone who saw the rack !!! I started taking requests for other types of racks, wall hangings and decorative pieces.
Each rack is completely unique in shape, size and natural coloring. All pictures are of the actual rack being sold. Additional pictures are available upon request. This rack was designed for scarfs, tee shirts, towels and other lighter weight items.
The rack will mount on any wall with the attached mounting hardware, pictured. The tree branch hooks are between 4 - 5 inches deep and are mounted on a 1 1/4 inch round x 25 1/2 inch tree branch.
The rack measures 25 1/2 inches long x 4 1/2 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches deep. This rack weighs just over a pound.
Shipping weight with packaging and box will be 2.5 pounds.

Because early man derived many resources from the tree, acorns for food, wood for fire, and in some cases even the trunk and big branches for shelter; there has been a long relationship between man and the oak tree.
