Interfaces stereo earbuds with a standard 3.5mm (1/8") stereo plug to 7 pin HD Ultra intercom/bike system.

Adapter does not change functioning of the intercom. It only redirects the audio to the stereo female so you can plug in earbuds.

By using earbuds (placing speakers closer to the ear) you are able to hear the audio louder and clearer.
