A Simplicity 8144…a Misses' Wedding Dress or Bridesmaid Dress in Two Lengths Sewing Pattern Size 12.
The pattern is partially cut and all the pieces are there. There are issues; please read below. The instructions are there but tanned. The envelope is in poor vintage condition with tanning, wear, brittleness, tears and missing pieces. The envelope flap is gone. Copyright 1969.
Please note that because of the damage to this pattern's envelope that I have included a picture of a different envelope's back so that you can better read the information. This second envelope is not included in this listing. You may want to lift the photo, print it and keep for reference.
The pieces that are cut are: Piece A Bodice Front, Piece C Bodice Back, Piece E Collar V. 1, Piece H Skirt Front, Piece K Skirt Back, Piece R Sleeve V. 2, and Piece S Cuff V. 2. The rest are uncut. Be aware that the pattern pieces, although still usable, are tanned and foxed as well as having some wear and splits along the fold lines. Piece H is especially rough and may need mending.

This pattern is a patient in the Vintage Patterns Company Pattern Hospital.
About the Vintage Patterns Company Pattern Hospital:
A lot of patterns come here as the result of an abusive prior relationship or as the result of old age. Their envelopes may be tattered but their contents good -or- they may be missing instructions that we can work around -or- they may be missing a few pieces we can draft –or- they could be only an envelope with great graphics.
So here they rest up until called for their next job.
For sizes and yardages please look at the scan of the envelope back.
Don't miss out just because the sizing isn't quite right! Resizing a pattern is simple, instructions may be found here:

All patterns are vintage items and sold…AS IS. Although I maintain a smoke-free and a pet-free studio, I have no control over where items have been previously. I attempt to represent my goods as honestly as possible, but sometimes something will get by. If you have any doubts about an item, E-MAIL ME! I want to make sure that you will be pleased with your purchase.
Pattern comes in a zip 2 mil. plastic bag and is shipped in an envelope with a cardboard insert. The zip bag is great for storing the pattern!
Please note that I count the pattern pieces unless factory folded, assess the pattern’s condition and press the pattern as necessary. You will never purchase a pattern from me with “It looks like it’s all there” or ‘Pieces need pressing’.
