(1) authentic, obsolete $5 Limited 1000 Casino Chip made by the RIVIERA Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV for BOBBY VINTON in concert March 19-20th 1999.

Born Stanley Robert Vinton Jr. is an American pop music singer of Polish origins, the only child of a locally popular bandleader, Stan Vinton. With the money he earned playing several clubs around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he helped finance his college education at Duquesne University, where he studied music and graduated with a degree in musical composition. In college, he became proficient on all instruments of a band: piano, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, drums and the oboe.

His 1st single was "ROSES ARE RED (My Love)". It spent 4 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Arguably, his most famous song is 1963's "BLUE VELVET", originally a minor hit for Tony Bennett in 1952, that also went to No. 1.

Vinton had 2 #1 hits in 1964, "THERE! I'VE SAID IT AGAIN" which is noteworthy as the final U.S. Billboard #1 single of the Pre-Beatles era; and "MR. LONELY"which he wrote during his service in the US Army in the late 1950s where he served as a Chaplain's Assistant.
