Excellent condition--no chips, cracks or repairs--on this late Victorian, antique stoneware pitcher featuring an all-over deep brown glaze. As shown, this pitcher features a high-relief medallion with filigree on each side with coordinating filigree at the top and a band of rectangles along the bottom. In addition, the piece has an arched handle with flat thorn. There is a glaze skip on the bottom (original and not damage) which is clearly shown in the last image. A great example of antique American utilitarian art pottery.
