Fostoria Glass High Compote Dish #2327
Twisted Spiral Stem

This high footed compote was made by the Fostoria Glass Company. It is Fostoria’s No. 2327 - 7 inch compote / comport with a distinctive twisted spiral stem. According to the Fostoria Book by Hazel Weatherman, the item was introduced about 1928 and was discontinued about 1931. The compote is a rich golden amber. It would be beautiful holding nuts, candies or tidbits.

Size: It is about 6.25 inches high. It has a top diameter of about 7.5 inches and a base diameter of about 4 inches.

Condition: The compote has a small amount of wear. No chips or cracks.
