2599 Antique Taylor, Smith, Taylor, Daphne Saucer
Up for your consideration is a 6" saucer produced by Taylor, Smith, Taylor on May 02 1942 according to its backstamp. The pattern is called Daphne and the pattern number is 1802. It has a ring of gold laurel leaves that runs around the rim on a egg shell band. The Taylor, Smith & Taylor Pottery Company was founded in 1899 and closed in 1981. This would even make a nice display in your kitchen or dining room wall with other plates. Some people even make necklaces and earrings out of these old antique plates, or start putting together this beautiful pattern for you very own elegant dinnerware set.
