Solpadeine contains three active ingredients paracetamol used as an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (lowers fever), codeine phosphate used as analgesic and caffeine for the rapid relief of pain of moderate to severe.
Solpadeine is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of short-term pains of moderate to severe various sites headache, migraine, toothache, pain in the muscles or joints, nerve pain, ENT (sore throat, pain the sinuses), or in the case of painful menstruation. Also Solpadeine it is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever of colds and flu.

Before you use Solpadeine

Do not use Solpadeine
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to paracetamol, caffeine, codeine, other opioids or any of the other ingredients of Solpadeine;
- Children and adolescents under 12 years
- If you have bleeding disorders or other diseases with risk of bleeding;
- If you have liver problems;
- If you have severe kidney problems;
- If you have gastrointestinal bleeding,
- If you have asthma, increased tracheobronchial secretions or severe breathing problems (due to the presence of codeine)
- In case of injuries to the head and high intracranial pressure (eg due to a brain hemorrhage or brain tumors);
- If you have acute infectious diarrhea;
- If you have subocclusion or ileus (bowel muscles a situation that does not allow movement of food through them, resulting in intestinal blockage);
- If you have liver surgery, gallbladder or bile duct (biliary tract);
- If you are taking medicines to treat depression called MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors - medicines to treat depression) or have done so in the past 2 weeks
- In the case of acute alcoholism (due to the presence of codeine);
- If the patient is in a coma (not to be administered opioid analgesics, eg codeine);

Take special care with Solpadeine

- If you often drink large amounts of alcohol frequently;
- If you have liver or kidney;

Taking other medicines

Oral:
Adults, elderly patients (with normal renal and hepatic function) and adolescents over 12 years:
The usual dose is 1-2 Solpadeine tablets administered orally ; if necessary, the dose can be repeated every 4-6 hours, not to exceed 4 doses per day (8 tablets in 24 hours).
Do not use in a range of less than 4 hours.
There should be administered over a period of 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Children:
This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years.
Duration of treatment
Solpadeine not be used in high doses or more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice.
Directions
If you use more than you should Solpadeine

If you forget to Solpadeine
