These jackets come in the standard French Army sizes so if you see any finer sizing gradation anywhere else what you're reading is simply not true. 

Sizing:

• medium = 21.5" across the front, armpit to armpit, --- says '96' on the label
• Large = 23" across the front, armpit to armpit ---- says 104 on the label
• Extra Large = 24" across the front, armpit to armpit ----- says 112 on the label
