Summary:  Margaret E. Hyde was inspired to create the Great Art for Kids books when she could not find age-appropriate and durable art books for her own daughter. As an alternative to having her expensive coffee-table books drooled on, Mrs. Hyde designed these durable board books to introduce young children to the great painters.

One of only a handful of female painters who were well known and widely  exhibited during their lifetimes, Mary Cassatt is best remembered for her intimate scenes of domestic life, including many mother-and-child portraits.
Cassatt for Kids contains twelve of her most beloved paintings, including The Bath and Children Playing on the Beach, in a toddler-friendly board-book format.
