Item Description
This full unused ticket from historic Fenway Park is dated 9/4/93. The Royals emerged with the victory 4-2 behind the pitching of David Cone (8 in. 4 hits 8 strikeouts) and the bats of George Brett (2 hits double & single), Hubie Brooks (2 hits) and a home run from Hal McRae.
The tough luck loser for the Bosox was Frank Viola (6.2 innings 5 hits 5 strikeouts). Future Hall of Famer Andre Dawson stroked a home run and single in the losing cause.
Condition of this piece of Royals and Red Sox history is very nice with only a surface ripple at the upper third.
