This is a fabulous vintage bold and chunky hard plastic or thermoset bright lime green bracelet decorated with small flowers that have a faux pearl bead center and encircle the entire bracelet. The petals are raised and very three dimensional. There is wire strung between the flowers and beads and the bracelet is very pliable and easy to put on. There are elongated panels in between each flower. The flexible cuff can easily fit just about any size wrist. It is a very wide and substantial bracelet. I'm not sure what to describe it as, a spring wrap, a coil wrap or a clamper bracelet.
This belonged to my Mother and is most likely from the 1950s to early 1960s. It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged pictures. It may need a little extra cleaning in the flower petal crevices, but I did not want to get this wet. There are no cracks or chips and all the little flowers and beads are intact. The diameter of the bracelet on the inside when closed is approximately 2 1/2 inches across. The width of the bracelet is 1 3/4 inches and the thickness is almost 3/4 inches, which includes the flowers.
This would be a fabulous bracelet to add to your collection of vintage jewelry or a perfect gift for a vintage plastic lover. It would be a fun and eye-catching accessory for a special occasion or function such as a wedding, prom, cruise or a tropical Luau Party.
